Introduction

NOTE TO THE READER:

"The Others" is a NON-VERBAL story in which traditional
dialog is absent for most of the filming process.

In the spirit of "Quest For Fire" (and the work of author/
linguist Anthony Burgess with animal expert Desmond Morris),
"The Others" is a film that draws upon the performers (and
viewer/ reader's) ability to interpret intent and meaning
through performance and mannerisms alone.

Character's deeds, not words.

As such, characters have names based upon their PRIMARY
SOUNDS if they are INFECTED. It seemed foolish to note
characters by names they will never know or understand.

Great demands are made of you, and the performers, in the
understanding and interpreting of this work. It's not an
easy read.

"The Others" is, at its core, a story of love and survival
against a horror that is cataclysmic and...entirely
possible.

That much I know.
